The Board of Directors, Members and Staff are proud of the state-of-the-art
facilities for the Salt Fork YMCA. After years of dreaming, planning and
watching construction, we can all enjoy these facilities and our new programs.

The
Salt Fork YMCA offers financial assistance to those in need, subject to
available resources. In addition to providing financial assistance on the
joining fee, eligible applicants may also qualify for assistance on the
monthly rate and programs. The Salt Fork YMCA believes that our memberships
and programs should be available to all in the community. After acceptance for
financial assistance, applications will need to be resubmitted and reviewed on
a yearly basis. If you would like to apply for assistance, please stop by 740
East Yerby Street in Marshall, Missouri and pick up an application or send
email to Bev Johnson ~

Community members are welcome to use the facility by means of a day pass
up to six times each year. They must present a picture ID and must
sign the guest log at the Member Services Desk. At busy times the YMCA
reserves the right to limit guest usage.
Daily fees cover the use of the facilities, including open swim/lap swim,
open gym, kids gym, sports court, weight equipment and walking track, but
does not include class participation.
If you keep your receipts
from your day passes and present them when you purchase a membership, we
will deduct those day passes from your initial membership payment.
Youth
under the age of 14 require a parent/guardian to sign the day pass form
before entering the facilities.
Children under 10 years old must have direct supervision by a
parent/guardian 14 years or older while using the pool. Due to the
training needed to use our Cybex and cardiovascular equipment, daily
guests must show knowledge of the equipment before use; schedule and age
restrictions apply. Contact the YMCA for daily pass rates. |

Youth Facility Use Guidelines |
The YMCA
does not provide formal supervision of children unless they are
registered in a program or checked into the Kids Gym or Child Watch
during supervised times. For your child's safety, any child under 10
years of age may use the YMCA only when a parent/guardian at least 14
years of age is present in the facility. Any child 9 years of
age and younger enrolled in a program must be signed in and out of the
program by a parent/guardian. |
Children
in the swimming pool under 10 years of age must have direct
supervision by a parent/guardian at least 14 years of age. Parents
may sit on the pool deck, but are encouraged to swim with their
children whenever possible. Youth must be 15 to use the whirlpool or
sauna facilities. |
For their
safety, youth under the age of 13 are not permitted on the second
floor unless attending a dance or aerobics class. Youth ages 13 and
older may use the Cybex selectorized equipment if they are directly
supervised by an adult 21 years or older or if they successfully pass
a Youth Strength Training course. For their safety, youth under the
age of 15 are not allowed to use the Free Weights. |
|
Acceptable Behavior |
The YMCA is
based on the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
We expect all people using our facilities and participating in our
programs to respect themselves and each other. We reserve the right
to suspend use or membership if a person fails to live up to any of
the character values we are based on. |
|
Tobacco Free |
The YMCA
Board of Directors has designated the Salt Fork YMCA as a Tobacco
Free campus. For your own health and the consideration of others we
request that no smoking or other tobacco products be used in
