What is Swim Team

If you love to swim, want to strengthen your skills, train and compete in a fun fitness sport, then you should join the swim team.  The YMCA Manta Rays offers a unique and exciting opportunity for children to experience the world of competitive swimming.  This is for children ages 6-18 who can swim 5 yards in the deep end without stopping.

This program is not only to build strong swimmers, but to prepare youngsters for life.  Through experience in swimming, our young people learn attitudes, life disciplines and habits that will remain with them.

good manners, team unity, and many other qualities that

will build values and character in each swimmer that will

create a stronger and more confident individual.
