Teen Aerobics:

This class is a combination of high and low impact group fitness combined with some cardio and step movement.  This class is offered only to Junior High and Senior High boys and girls.

Pilates:

A very low impact class which will help increase postural strength, joint range of motion, and muscle elasticity.  Not only will you be improving your health but this class can be used as a relaxation method to lower those  stressors to a functional proper levels.

Intermediate Step:

This class will incorporate a bench step with varied heights.  Your fitness level will determine what height you will use.  This is a great way to get your heart rate up into   your heart rate zone early in the morning.

Deep Water Aerobics:

Deep Water Aerobics is the waters way of providing a soothing distraction from pain and stress that can occur in the joints. Enjoy an intense workout while suspended in the deep end of the pool with equipment to keep you a float. Whatever your current level of physical activity, water exercise is a great way to improve fitness, maintain health and restore vitality. Feeling good is as close as your nearest indoor swimming pool.  
This class is now included in the cost of a membership. The only thing required is that a member sign-up for the class prior to the program beginning.

Water Fitness:

Low impact for joints in a temperature controlled atmosphere for therapeutic benefits.  Fun for any age participant.

Step, Tone, Pump:

This class is exactly what it says.  You will get your heart rate into a fat burning zone with the cardiovascular part.  Then you will be able to tone and stimulate your muscles with a variety of strength training exercises using dumbbells, and barbells.

Toning Fitness Ball:

This class helps develop your major muscle groups and help increase your kinesthetic awareness.  It also incorporates a lot of functional movements that will help strengthen your core and improve stability muscles.

AOA (Active Older Adults):

This specially designed, low impact class meets the needs of all older adults.  It incorporates flexibility, strength, cardiovascular endurance, and fun into a one-hour session. 

Rusty Hinges:

Rusty Hinges is part arthritis class and part aerobic. This class is designed for all ages and   all abilities, ranging from beginner to pro. In this class we work on range of motion, muscle tone, flexibility, rehabilaition with a little cardiovascular worked in. Whether you aren't ready   for a full water aerobic class or are still recovering from hip, knee, shoulder replacements or even back surgery, we have a place for you. Please consult your physician before   participating in this class if you have had any major surgeries.

Body Pump:

Strictly dumbbells, barbells, and bodyweight.  This class will be done on the group fitness floor and complete in 45 minutes.  It'll get your heart rate up while targeting all of your major muscle groups.  This is a strength training class which will help burn that fat away.

Beginner's Step:

Another method of training to improve your heart, lungs, and decrease your body fat.    This class will be for those who are just starting to get back into a fitness plan and want    to learn the basic moves before advancing.

Cardio Kick Boxing:

This class uses moves adapted from martial arts and uses them to form a rhythmic heart pounding workout.  This is an advanced class so take a couple of weeks and prepare before you jump right in.

Interval / Hi-Lo:

This class is a combination of high and low impact group fitness combined with some weight training.  The instructor will give you options or variations of each exercise so      you can increase or decrease the intensity according to your fitness level.

Type II Training:

Let the ATHLETE out that is inside.  This class will target your fast twitch muscle fibers.   A lot of the moves will be horizontal and vertical movements.  This is a very high impact class and intended for members who have been exercising for awhile. 

Step, Kick, Tone:

This is a combination class that will incorporate a step class, a kickboxing class, and strength training all in one fun filled hour.  Be sure to bring your water bottle and your towel because it will be an intense class for any fitness level.

Zumba Dance Aerobics:

Zumba is a fitness program inspired by Latin dance. Zumba combines Latin rhythms with cardiovascular exercise to create an aerobic routine that is effective, fun and easy to follow. The name Zumba is derived from a Colombian word meaning to move fast and have fun. The Zumba program will tone and sculpt the body through fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning.

Line Dancing:

Dance your way to fitness?  Most individuals like to dance, but not everyone likes to exercise. Now you can dance and get a workout too. Line dancing is considered low impact, but it definitely has the ability to get your heart rate up. Forget the old country and western image - line dancing has expanded to the fitness realm and the best part is...no partner is needed.  This class is suitable for all ages and fitness levels
