SALT FORK YMCA

We are strong young people helping to build stronger families and a stronger community.

The Salt Fork YMCA Solid Rock Program will help to present a structured program for youth to develop the skills necessary to become healthy, caring, and competent adults.  

This program will instill a passion for life and all that life places before them.

It will teach them the principles of character development through the YMCA four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

SEPTEMBER: Pathways to Success - goal setting, personal finances, communication

OCTOBER: Pathways to New Roads & Traditions - Friendships, Decisions, Organization Skills

NOVEMBER: Pathways to Enlightenment - Healthy Minds & Bodies, Nutrition

DECEMBER: Pathways to Character - Conflict Resolution, Service to others

The Pathfinders group will focus on growth as a whole person through their mind, body, and spirit. It will give this age group the opportunity to learn about the importance of life skills.

 

Your leaders are ready to have a wonderful year with you and your friends.  This is a special program for youth wanting to have fun and make a difference in the community they live in.  This is a great place and program to just hang out with your friends.  It is never to late to join in the fun!

 
Who: 5th and 6th  graders
When: Every Thursday 6:00pm - 7:30pm
Cost:

$25.00 for the whole year (includes t-shirt)

Junior High students, we have an awesome program just for you! The Trailblazers group will concentrate on development and motivation.  

You will experience exciting adventures, giving to others, and much more. If you have ever wanted to make others happy and have fun with your friends this is the program for YOU. Your leaders are ready to have a wonderful year with you and your friends. If you think you might be interested just come and participate in one of our Trailblazers meetings.

 
Who: 7th and 8th graders
When: Every Tuesday 6:00pm - 7:30pm

The Voyagers group will learn and apply the many skills and talents developed through their adventures.  With your leaders you are sure to have a blast while helping others. 

Throughout the year you will have many experiences that will change your life. This program is to help you as a teen to grow to become the best person that you can be. Our Voyagers Program is fun and exciting. It's much more than meetings, we provide laughter, food, games, and you and your friends plan the fun activities together.

 
Who: 9th - 12th graders
When: Every Monday 6:00pm - 7:30pm

Summer Mission Trips

Voyagers Summer Mission Trip

Why do we have all of the fundraisers? Specifically for our Summer Mission Trip. Of course, after all of your hard work and dedication we reward you! We will very soon be choosing the destination of our Summer 2008 Mission Trip.  You will get to spread your joy and cheer to many in need. We will help in soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and work with after school programs. During the day you will be hard at work. In the evening we will enjoy a worship service and much more of the culture available at our destination.

Trailblazers Summer Mission Trip

Get ready for a life changing summer on the Trailblazers Mission Trip. You and your friends will remember this trip and how you helped make a difference in the lives of others. We will very soon be choosing the destination of our Summer 2008 Mission Trip.  You will get to spread your joy and cheer to many in need. We will help in nursing homes, homeless shelters, and be ministering to many different people. During the day you will be hard at work. In the evening we will attend a worship service and visit a variety of places.  

These Mission Trips are the adventures of a lifetime. Come and join the Adventure of the Salt Fork YMCA Solid Rock Youth Connection Program and create memories that will last and last.
